This is documented in a Chicago newspaper. He arrived at Castle Garden, NY Harbor in 1873 on the SS Cimbria. |

He emigrated to Sutton NE in 1874 from Worms South Russia aboard the SS Schiller; 2 August 1874 arriving at NY harbor. Heinrich settled on land in SW York county. He was a farmer. When his brother Peter died he married Peter's wife Eva Trautmann. They had children of their own in addition to Peter and Eva's Children. When Eva died, he married Albina Winter who had been married to John Mehlhaf. Albina and John had a son named William and a daughter named Wilhelmina. After the union of Albina and Heinrich Peter, they had three children, Rosina, Adolph, and Bertha. Adolph was my Grandfather. He took over the York Co farm operation from his father, Heinrich Peter.
